Hello

We’re Kira and Gabriel, newlyweds on a mission to tackle life, travel the world, and eventually grow our family. We’re both artists, entrepreneurs, and have a *healthy* obsession with our dog Wyatt. This blog will host our story… 

Our Story: 

They met at a film festival almost seven years ago in Los Angeles. She was there supporting her friends as the 11th wheel. He was there supporting his new short film. They saw each other, sparks flied, and she had to walk by him at least five times pretending to go get water before he would introduce himself. After that fateful night, both of their busy schedules kept them from being able to meet again in person for a few months, but that didn’t stop them from talking and getting to know each other. The finally went on a date. Lunch, he suggested. Then another, then another. A photobooth led to a first kiss and a love for roadtrips and adventure was blossoming. Fast forward to August 19th, 2023: They tied the knot in Laguna Beach, CA. In almost even years, they’ve traveled to over 20 states, been to five countries, and lived in three cities together.

Our Passions: 

Movies! Outdoors! Food! Travel! We are artists and have a deep love for Hollywood, and in particular, Old Hollywood. In addition to that we are passionate about sustainable living and are ocean advocates. We love traveling of all kinds–camping, jet-setting, staycations, you name it. Gabriel and I have mastered the art of simply enjoying being together, and being each other’s biggest cheerleader. Our life isn’t exactly classified as “normal,” but then again, what is “normal” these days anyways? 

Kira

Kira was born and raised in Laguna Beach. She moved to Los Angeles immediately after college to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Over the past decade she’s founded a sustainable goods company called Bold Box (more on this later), become an active member of Oceana, developed a deep love of cooking, and tackled the indie movie scene. 

Gabriel

Gabriel was born in Brazil and spent half his childhood in his native Goiânia and the other half growing up in South Florida. His acting journey began in middle school, but was reignited with an international commercial campaign for CCAA, where he starred along lesser-known actors like Bruce Willis, Megan Fox and Samuel L Jackson. Gabe moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and has steadily been building a name for himself in Film & Television ever since. His deep love of the outdoors, adventure, photography, and family shape who he is today!
